Review creators
Review is the clean surface where the decisions actually happen. Both the Fohr team and the brand work here, on the same list, with different controls. It is a separate route from Build, so the review’s address changes when you switch modes.
Before you start
Open the review and select Review in the Build and Review switch. Two things have to be true before anyone sees a creator here, and missing either one shows No creators yet.
- The creator sits in a section. Creators left in Unassigned never appear in Review, whatever the display settings say.
- You have published the round carrying them. Share rounds and hand off approved creators covers publishing.
Layouts
Three layouts show the same creators differently, and the choice is a reading preference rather than a setting that changes anything about the review.
| Layout | Use when |
|---|---|
| Grid | You want to compare a section’s creators against each other at a glance. |
| List | You want the statistics lined up in columns and are working through the roster in order. |
| Theatre | You are presenting live, or the brand prefers one creator at a time. |
What a reviewer sees on a creator
Selecting a creator opens their full details: the rationale under WHY THIS CREATOR, the pinned examples under SAMPLE CONTENT, their tags, and whichever statistics the display settings leave on. Creator Review covers what each part holds, and Customize the client view covers which of them a brand reviewer gets.
Use Previous creator and Next creator to work along a section without returning to the roster.
How to discuss a creator
Select Open comments on a creator, or Toggle comments in their detail panel, to start or read a thread with the brand.
Use a comment when you need an answer, for example whether a creator has worked with a competitor. Use a note for a standing fact about working with someone, which is not a discussion and does not expect a reply.
Approve and pass
Each creator carries an APPROVE and a PASS control, and decisions save as you make them. No separate submission step closes the review, so a half-decided review is a normal state rather than an unfinished one.
Passing can require a reason. Require Pass Reason is off by default, so unless you turned it on, a reviewer can pass on a creator with no explanation. With it on, the reviewer picks a suggested reason or writes their own before the pass registers.
Find pending and passed creators
Filter by status, section, tier, search, and tags to work through what is left. Hide Passed controls whether passed creators stay on screen, so turning it off is how you revisit a decision or explain one to the team.
A creator vanishing right after a decision is almost always a filter rather than a deletion. The default view hides passed creators, so approving or passing someone removes them from a pending-only list immediately.
Troubleshooting
Two questions come up most often when you work in Review, and both have a quick answer:
The brand says the review is empty #
Two different causes produce the same message, so check both.
The creators are still in Unassigned. A creator has to sit in a section before Review shows them, and this holds even with a published round and Unassigned Creators turned on. In Build, select the creators, open Actions, and choose Move to your section.
Or you have not published a round yet. Publish Round 1 from Build.
A creator disappeared after you made a decision #
A filter is active. The default view hides passed creators, so a pass removes the creator from the list at once. Turn Hide Passed off, or clear the status filter, to bring them back.
