Build a creator review
Building a review means getting the right creators into the right sections. Everything here happens in Build, and none of it reaches your reviewers until you publish a round.
Before you start
Have the brand in place. You cannot create a review without it, and you cannot change it afterward. For what sections and lanes are, see Creator Review.
How to build the lineup
Work through these steps in order. Sections have to exist before you can place creators in them, and every creator needs a section before a reviewer can see anyone.
Create or open the review
Select Creator Review in the left sidebar to reach the Creator Reviews list.
To start a new one, name it in the Start a New Review panel and choose the BRAND. Name it for the lineup rather than the date, since the name is what your reviewers see at the top of the review. You add the campaign, goal, sections, and creators afterward.
To open an existing review, select Open → on its card.
Connect the campaign or bulletin
Select the edit control beside the review title to open Review details, then Change to connect a campaign or bulletin, or Unlink to remove a connection.
Do this before generating rationales. A connected campaign supplies its brief as the review’s context, so connecting afterward means regenerating work you have already done.
Add creators
Select Add Creators. It offers five sources, and you can mix them in one review.
| Source | Use when |
|---|---|
| Search creators | You are starting from scratch and want to find people by their profile. |
| Paste handles or a list | You already have the names, from a brief, a spreadsheet, or a client email. |
| From a campaign | The campaign already holds the people you want to review. |
| From a bulletin | You are reviewing applicants to an open opportunity. |
| From groups | You keep a saved group for this brand or this kind of work. |
Paste handles or a list is the most predictable of the five. It opens Add from Handles or List, takes handles, profile links, or list rows one per line, and asks under ADD TO whether they join Top Picks or Alternates. The submit button carries the count it resolved, reading Add 4 Creators.
That count is what the handles matched, not what you pasted. Four handles resolving to two creators shows Add 2 Creators, and nothing names the two that failed. Read the number against your list before adding, since a lineup built from a client’s list can come out short with nothing on screen saying so.
Create the sections
Select Add Section. The dialog takes a Section name, an optional # of target creators, and a platform.
Name sections for the job the creators in them do, matching the campaign’s own categories, since the section name is what a reviewer compares people within.
Choose the platform you will actually judge that section’s creators on. It decides which platform’s statistics their rows show, and Any Platform shows Instagram and TikTok side by side.
Place every creator into a section
Select the creators, open Actions, and choose Move to the section you want. The same menu holds Make Top Pick, Make Alternate, and Reset to Pending. Select All in Section takes the whole visible group at once.
Use Drag to reorder to set the order inside a lane. The Sort filter has to be on Custom Order for a manual arrangement to hold.
Filters and portfolio stats
Five filters sit above the roster: Section, Tier, Status, Tags, and Sort. The Portfolio Stats panel reports on the filtered roster and says so, reading Filtered view with the count it is describing, for example Filtered view · 10 of 14 creators.
Two defaults are worth knowing before you read any number on this screen. Status starts on Approved + pending, which hides passed creators, and Sort starts on Custom Order. The approved, pending, and passed counts beside the panel are for the whole review, so they will not match a filtered panel, and that is what the Filtered view label is telling you.
Troubleshooting
Three questions come up most often when you build a review, and all three have a quick answer:
A creator shows no statistics, or shows a platform not connected message #
The section’s platform is one the creator has no connected account on. Either move them to a section whose platform matches, or change the section to Any Platform. A missing connection is not the same as zero performance, and it does not mean the creator is a poor fit.
Fewer creators arrived than you pasted #
Handles that match nothing drop out without a message. The submit button counts what resolved, so compare that number against your list before adding, and add the missing creators by searching for them instead.
The roster does not match the counts beside Portfolio Stats #
A filter is active. Status defaults to Approved + pending, which hides passed creators until you change it. The panel says which subset it is reporting on, reading Filtered view with the creator count.
