# Pool Criteria

> For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://fohr.writedocs.io/llms.txt).

Every criterion you can add to a pool, with the options each one offers.

Each criterion is one condition a creator has to meet. The **Add criteria** menu groups the criteria, and each group has its own page with the options each criterion offers.

## Before you start

Open a pool in the editor and select **Add criteria** in the side panel. The following image shows the menu and its groups.

![The Add criteria menu. The groups list the criteria: Records holds Past work and Groups. Creator holds Location, Creator details, Creator Demographics, Audience Demographics, Performance, Life event, and Profession. Content holds DNA type, Core topics, Visual style, and Keywords. Advanced holds Badges.](https://fohr.writedocs.io/images/pool-add-criteria.png)

For how several values combine, see [Build a Pool](https://fohr.writedocs.io/docs/admin/pool/build/#how-to-build-a-pool).
